Where is The Wyld Collective?
The Wyld Collective is set within a beautiful countryside and woodland environment just outside of Codsall on the Staffordshire border, offering guests the opportunity to escape the everyday and enjoy a peaceful, private stay surrounded by nature.
Full directions and the exact location of your accommodation will be provided with your booking information.
What accommodation can I stay in?
We currently offer two unique luxury stays with 3 more currently under construction and due to open for Christmas 2026! Our current accommodation options are: Tinkers Lodge and Keepers Cottage.
Each has its own character, atmosphere and facilities, while sharing the same Wyld Collective approach to comfort, privacy and immersed in nature.
How do I book?
You can book your stay online through our booking system.
Simply select your preferred accommodation, choose your dates and follow the booking process.
If you have any questions before booking, please contact us and we'll be happy to help.
How far in advance can I book?
Our availability is shown through our online booking system and allows pre-booking up to 12 months in advance.
We recommend booking early for weekends, school holidays and other popular periods as availability can be limited.
What are your check-in and check-out times?
Check-in is from 3:00 PM.
Check-out is by 11:00 AM.
If you would like to arrive early or leave later, please contact us before your stay. While we cannot guarantee this, we'll always do our best where possible.
Will we have the accommodation entirely to ourselves?
Yes. Your accommodation and its designated private outdoor space are exclusively yours for the duration of your stay. Each unit has it's own kitchen and bath/shower-room facilities within the Shepherd's Hut/Lodge so no need to leave the comfort of your own space.
Please note that the wider woodland and countryside surrounding the accommodation may not be exclusively private. The coffee-shack and kids play-area are the the enjoyment of all our guests so please be considerate of other guests and the surrounding environment.
Is there parking?
Yes. Parking is available for guests.
We have a beautiful, gated woodland car-park within a few meters of the accommodation. Full parking and arrival instructions will be provided before your stay.
Do I need a car?
We are situated in a rural countryside setting, so we generally recommend having access to a car.
This allows you to make the most of the surrounding countryside, villages, attractions, walks and places to eat.
Is Wi-Fi available?
Yes, Wi-Fi is available within all of our accommodations.
Wi-Fi details will be provided at the accommodation.
Is there mobile phone signal?
Mobile signal can vary in rural and woodland locations.
If staying with us means switching off for a while, that's certainly something we won't complain about.
Are towels and bedding provided?
Yes. Fresh bed linen and towels are provided for your stay.
Please check your individual accommodation information for details of any additional outdoor towels or robes provided.
Is there a kitchen?
Yes. All accommodations have kitchen facilities, allowing guests to prepare meals and enjoy a relaxed stay without needing to eat out every day.

Do I need to bring food?
We recommend bringing any food and drinks you'd like for your stay, particularly if you plan to enjoy a quiet evening at the accommodation.
There are also shops, farm shops, pubs, restaurants and other food options within the surrounding area. More details of these will be provided within each units 'Welcome Pack'.
Are there restaurants and pubs nearby?
Yes. There are a number of pubs, restaurants, cafés and countryside dining options within the surrounding area.
We're happy to recommend some of our favourites.
Are pets allowed?
Both the 'Tinkers Lodge' and 'Keepers Cottage' are pet friendly and can accommodate up-to 2 dogs. We have a pet-charge of £20 per stay if you are bringing your dog with you. Please contact us before booking if you are unsure whether your pet can be accommodated.
Are children welcome?
Both 'Tinkers Lodge' and 'Keepers Cottage' are suitable for 2 adults and up-to 2 children. We have a £15 charge per child this covers the additional bedding for the sofa-bed along with the provision of towels provided for your stay. Please contact us before booking if you are unsure whether your children can be accommodated.
Can I bring extra guests?
Each accommodation has a maximum occupancy which must not be exceeded.
Please contact us before your stay if your circumstances change. Additional overnight guests cannot be accommodated without prior agreement.
Can we have visitors during our stay?
Day visitors are not-permitted without our prior agreement.
The maximum occupancy of the accommodation and any applicable facility limits must never be exceeded.
Can we have a party or celebration?
Our accommodations are designed for peaceful, private escapes rather than parties or large gatherings.
Parties and events are not permitted without our prior written agreement.
Can I bring my own food and drink?
Absolutely. You're welcome to bring your own food and drinks for your stay, subject to the accommodation's facilities.
Can I bring alcohol?
Guests may bring alcohol for their own enjoyment, provided it is consumed responsibly and in accordance with our accommodation rules.
Alcohol must never be consumed while using the hot tub or sauna.
Is there a hot tub?
Both Tinkers Lodge and Keepers Cottage have a private hot tub for the exclusive use of registered guests.
Is there a sauna?
Keepers Cottage has a private sauna for the exclusive use of registered guests. Tinkers Lodge does not have a sauna.
Where provided, the sauna is for registered guests only and must be used in accordance with the safety instructions provided.
Can I use the hot tub or sauna if I have a medical condition?
Hot tubs and saunas involve exposure to heat and may not be suitable for everyone.
If you have any health concerns, medical conditions, are pregnant, take medication that may affect your response to heat, or are unsure whether these facilities are suitable for you, please consult an appropriately qualified medical professional before use.
All use is at your own risk and the safety instructions provided at the accommodation must be followed.
Do I need to bring towels for the hot tub?
Towels are provided for your stay, including towels for use with the hot tub.
Can we use the hot tub at night?
Yes, you are welcome to use the hot tub at any time during your stay, provided you follow the safety instructions and any applicable rules.
Please follow the instructions provided at the accommodation and be considerate of neighbouring guests and the surrounding countryside.
What happens if the weather is bad?
The great thing about a luxury countryside escape is that there's plenty to enjoy whatever the weather.
Curl up with a book, enjoy the interior, light the candles, soak in the hot tub or simply watch the woodland change outside.
Outdoor facilities may occasionally be restricted where weather conditions make their use unsafe.
Are the outdoor areas private?
Each accommodation has its own designated outdoor space. Fenced with privacy in mind, these areas are for the exclusive use of registered guests.
Is the accommodation suitable for guests with mobility difficulties?
Our properties are located in a rural countryside environment and may include gravel, steps, uneven ground and other natural features.
Please contact us before booking if you have specific accessibility requirements so that we can discuss whether the accommodation is suitable for you.
What should I bring with me?
We provide the essentials for a comfortable stay, but you may wish to bring:
- Food and drinks
- Clothing suitable for the season
- Walking shoes or boots
- Personal toiletries
- Swimwear for the hot tub
- Any personal medication
- Anything you need to make your stay feel like home
Are there walks nearby?
Yes. The surrounding countryside offers plenty of opportunities for walking and exploring.
We're happy to point guests towards some of our favourite local routes and places to explore.
Can we light candles?
Candles may be provided as part of the atmosphere at the accommodation.
Please only use candles and naked flames where specifically provided or permitted, and never leave them unattended.
What happens if something goes wrong during our stay?
Please contact us as soon as possible.
We want you to have a wonderful stay and will always do our best to resolve genuine problems as quickly as reasonably possible.
What happens if we leave something behind?
Contact us as soon as you realise.
If we find your belongings, we'll do our best to arrange their return. Reasonable postage or handling costs may apply.
Can I buy a gift voucher?
We do offer gift-vouchers for each of our accommodations, please drop us a message for more information.
Do you offer special offers or discounts?
From time to time we may offer special rates, seasonal offers or opening promotions.
Any applicable offer will be clearly advertised with its individual terms and booking conditions.

Yes. Tinkers Lodge has it's own private wood-fired hot-tub.
The hot tub is for the private use of registered guests staying at Tinkers Lodge.
Does Tinkers Lodge have a sauna?
No.
Is the outdoor area private?
Yes. Tinkers Lodge has its own private garden. Please note whilst we have installed privacy fencing on three sides, it is not dog-proofed.
Is Tinkers Lodge pet friendly?
Yes, we welcome up to 2 dogs.

Yes, Tinkers Lodge is suitable for up to 2 children.
